Custom Approach To Better Feelings
CUSTOM ORTHOTICS
At Chiropractic Whole Health, we take a functional approach to health and wellness. As integral as the spine is to posture and flexibility, the feet lay the foundation for the entire body. In the absence of proper support, the body is forced out of alignment. This fatigues and stresses the various joints and muscles needed for mobility, increasing the risk of injury, and reducing your capacity for top performance. Dr. Rob, Dr. Kevin and Dr. Joe provide a full spectrum of care, including assessment for custom orthotics as needed to improve health through a well-supported foundation.
Custom orthotics
Would you like to improve your athletic performance, save your feet from the heavy abuse they take, or just feel more comfortable as you go about your day? We can help, by providing custom made orthotic foot supports. By creating a more balanced, more stable foundation for your body, we can maximize your chiropractic care, and enhance health and overall wellness.
The primary advantage of custom orthotics is that they are made specifically for your feet and your postural issues. Individually designed custom inserts are made based on impressions and images of your feet. The technology we use to assess your feet for custom orthotics is backed by NASA research, which creates a level of confidence you will not find from a store-bought product.
Off-the-shelf shoe inserts
The challenge that we face in helping patients regain the greatest extent of mobility and highest quality of life is to determine if an off-the-shelf shoe insert will provide them with the support they need to reduce stress on joints in the feet, the ankles, the knees, the hips, and the spine. These commercially made supports may sit only under one part of your foot, such as the heel, or they may extend the full length of your shoe. In addition to varying sizes and material components, off-the-shelf inserts may contain features such as air or fluid-filled sacs, magnets, and more.
Because only one area of the arch tends to gain support from an off-the-shelf orthotic, many people feel an immediate difference with a custom orthotic that supports all three areas of the arch.
